She picked the most fabulous hot pink for her nails and purple for her toes.


After our visit to the nail salon, we stopped for Linzi's favorite treat - Brue*ster's chocolate chip mint ice cream in a waffle cone! She didn't even share with mommy - but I am sure it was only because she had my best interest at heart! :-)


We ended our day with a family dinner out at a favorite local restaurant. I had planned on Chinese, but my LuLu wasn't in the mood. So we had good ole' American food. We read a special story about China and talked about the significance of today. Then I said a very special prayer of thanksgiving for this precious princess of mine and kissed her goodnight. God is so good.

What a wonderful day for a precious little girl. So glad you two were able to enjoy a day @ the salon and then for a sweet treat. Hope dinner was delicious too!

ps I will call you in the am- thinking we might come out Wed am- would that work for you? Maybe go for lunch when the girls get out of school?
