I just love these pictures of Linzi & Alex. Right now, Linzi is VERY attached to her daddy. Even I am chopped liver whenever he is home. Usually, only Daddy will do for bedtime stories. I am not dealing with the rejection very well, but that is a whole other post. ;-) So on this particular night, Eric had a business dinner and did not get home in time for bedtime stories. Alex stood in for Daddy and the two of them were having so much fun, bedtime turned into a photoshoot and a very late and silly tuck in!

How sweet is that!!! A very familiar thing happens here too when Scott gets home. He is such a precious dad to all my girls. The pictures of Alex reading to Linzi are so wonderful- I know she will never forget it!!! I LOVE your page too! Thanks for your comment yesterday about my pages- they are not that fancy but I was always a picture and journal kind of scrapper. I am so thankful I am motivated to get it done- sometimes it is a little daunting. Anyway, hope you have a GREAT Tuesday!!!

very, very cute....love the new blog look....as far as your comment....when we walk into our same resort that we always stay at...we feel like we are "back home" as well.
Have a great week...
we love Dr Seuss! Just had a post the other day about a fav Dr Seuss bok! Flap Your Wings. It is great!
Hello, my name is Heather and I too am chopped liver. It is a unique club we belong to, but it always makes me smile to see the relationship between daughters and their daddies:) How sweet that Alex will fill in and that she reveres him as well - I was in awe of my big brother - sometimes, I still am!

I love that. They are so cute together.
Watching my Lindy reject me for her daddy has been one of the harder aspects of motherhood for me. I feel your pain.
I sincerely pray you know Linzi loves you DEEPLY and that won't ever change (except get stronger). I do love seeing her lovin' on her big brother and am glad she has a close relationship with her Daddy--it is so important for girls.
Hang in there!!! Love the layout. You're doing so great with it.
